RYDAL GREEN
Approximately one acre of land at the
corner of Susquehanna and Huntington Pike with the
dilapidating clubhouse from the former Rydal Golf Course &
Country Club - has just changed hands again . Originally
acquired by McKinley Fire Co for a substation - the property has
reverted again ( for the cost of $1 ) to the township. The
township expects that the cost of razing the clubhouse to be
about $30,000 and that once done ( possibly by late summer of
'08 ) the land will be kept as open space ( though a
possibility of it's use for an emergency substation in the
future will be retained.
